In the rising me and my babygirl love to bond over our superfood hot chocolate that we've created from scratch. Mommy gathers all the ingredients while babygirl does the (supervised) whisking. Our healing hot chocolate is very comforting, rich, and sweet! Plus it’s packed with our favorite superfoods!

The main ingredient, cacao, is full of vitamins and minerals like magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, selenium and healing antioxidants. All of which are great for energy production and healthy digestion thus making it our go-to drink!

Divine Plant Fact:

Thanks to the alkaloid theobromine, cacao provides better overall energy without the crash (unlike coffee)

Cacao isn't only called a superfood because of it's nutritional properties, it is also a heart chakra stimulant. This divine herb helps regulate health concerns regarding the physical and emotional state of our heart. Studies have shown cacao to assist conditions regarding blood pressure, diabetes, and inflammation in the body. It is also traditionally consumed in healing ceremonies for it’s fast acting heart center stimulation when combined with other herbs. People have reported feelings of immense euphoria after a healing cacao ceremony, ultimately centering and strengthening connection to their heart space.

Okay now let’s get into the creation!

You’ll need the following ingredients:*

3 c coconut milk

2 tbsp cacao + reishi powder

2 tbsp sea moss

3 tbsp agave

Dash of vanilla, cinnamon & sea salt

*Disclaimer: feel free to make adjustments to measurements and substitute for your favorite items. We enjoy using coconut milk and agave because they are the sweetest and it's alkaline! WARNING: please make sure your cacao is real cacao and NOT COCOA. cocoa is over processed with salt and artificial sugar. (let me know in the comments if you want me to go in on this).

Directions:

-Warm up your milk on the stove

-Add sea moss, cacao, reishi, and cinnamon

-Whisk until blended

-Add agave, vanilla, and sea salt for taste!

-Allow to cool then pour, sip and enjoy(:

This comforting cup of nourishment has been one of our favorite rising rituals! I hope you enjoy it just as much as we do. Pls tag us in your creations!
