Here at Divine Roots World Market we offer two popular sea moss strands. Our golden Caribbean sea moss, scientifically known as Gracilaria, comes from our suppliers in St. Lucia. Our dark purple sea moss, scientifically known as Chondrus cripsus, comes from our loyal harvesters in Maine.
The major differences between the two strands according to case studies are the nutritional density. Our Gracilaria, golden sea moss is amazing for binding toxins and flushing them out of our system therefore we recommend consuming when your desired goal is to detox. Our Chondrus crispus strand is more nutrient dense therefore is recommended for revitalizing the body once the body has been detoxed.
